Our Vacation Bible School takes place each year during the first full week of June. We start off our VBS each year with a Sunday Night Kickoff, our regular worship service with a bit of a twist. When our members and guests walk through the doors of the church they will be walking into another world, a place that reflects that of our theme. The front of the auditorium will also have its unique features as well. We have our normal services but dedicate some of it to singing special songs for our children and our preacher, Jeff Abrams, develops a lesson that incorporates our year's theme.
After our services have come to a close we make our way over to the church annex for hamburgers, hot dogs, homemade ice cream, and so much more. There are also large inflatables and games for the children. During this fun and exciting time we all share in a wonderful period of fellowship.
The remainder of our Vacation Bible School takes place on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday evenings at six o'clock nightly. It is on these three nights that we dedicate time for singing, skits, story time, crafts, and refreshments.
