The Bible records Jesus promise to build the church, His dying to purchase the church, and the establishment of the church in Jerusalem on Pentecost in A.D. 33. The churches of Christ today are striving to be that church which Jesus died - nothing more and nothing less. To this end we seek to do what the Bible teaches without addition or subtraction. Our worship follows the New Testament in its simplicity. We wear the name Christian and no other. We ask men to obey only the Bible and we know that God will bless them. We seek to worship Him in truth and in spirit. Our worship services are conducted with reverence according to the pattern revealed in the New Testament. When you walk through our doors, it will be just like coming home. You will be greeted by friendly people with smiling faces. You will see a lot of folks who look just like you. You will notice that our worship services are like those we read about in our Bibles. Everyone enthusiastically sings, studies the Bible, remembers the death of Christ, joyfully gives, prays, and draws closer to God and each other. The sermons are relevant to your life and are easy to understand. We trust that you will leave the assembly refreshed, with a deeper faith, and an eagerness to come back again. |
